West Plains Safety Training

On Wednesday the 13th, our West Plains office held a safety meeting for employees from the City of West Plains, firefighters, and first responders.

Over 100 attendees listened to representatives from Summit discuss some general information about SNG, and the different service areas. Attendees also were provided with information about natural gas, equipment and natural gas hazards. Most importantly, SNG discussed what to do in the case of a line hit, a flammable gas fire, the hazards of indoor gas leaks and what to do, hazards of outdoor gas leaks and how to handle them, and also information about carbon monoxide exposure. 

Safety is one of the top priorities for Summit, and similar meetings occur around each of the areas that we service.
